Workshop information

On 27-28 November 2017 a group of post-graduates from History and International Politics Department will organise Aber@Archives, a two-day workshop dedicated to archival research methods for post-graduate students. The workshop comprises a range of speakers from across academic and service departments (History, International Politics, Modern Languages, Information Management, Libraries and Archives and Information Services) who will share their knowledge on how to approach the University’s wealth of archival collections. The focus of the workshop is on interdisciplinary research methods, practical guidance and across time periods. In addition, the workshop will include a visit to the National Library of Wales with specialist talks and an archival tour, as well as two key-note speakers on Women’s Archives in Wales and Cold War history. We’ll publish the programme later this week as well as a registration form (attendance is free).
